Growing up on a farm in NSW meant falling in love with horses at a young age. The usual story of pony club, trail rides and stock work on green horses. As a young adult working as an exercise rider for performance horse stables in SA I was lucky enough to find French Classical Equitation as taught by Saritta Stratton. Studying under Sarita I got to experience the lightness that was possible through academic riding and training. This inspired me to dedicate myself to learning the fundamentals of training young horses in the classical style. In 2020 I started part time work as an equine veterinary nurse, gaining clinical experience and the chance to develop skills in triage care and an eye for nutrition and soundness issues. Furthering my education with a bachelor of Biomedical Scicence- evidence based research informs the care I offer. Training and exercising horses I continue everyday to develop my ability to connect with those in my care- with a gentle hand and an educated mind, as I train, I learn, and I love.
